Over 500 Afghan evacuees, our allies who worked alongside us during the decades-long conflict in their country, are resettling in Western New York.  We partnered with St. Paul's Cathedral and St. Martin's-in-the-Field on Grand Island to furnish an entire apartment for one of the families.  The people of St. John's donated over 100 items for a child's bedroom and for the bathroom.

St. John's collected 830 bags of groceries and other necessary supplies for the CARE-and-SHARE Food Pantry in 2021. St. John's has a close relationship with our local school district, Lewiston-Porter.  We collect school supplies over the summer for delivery in September and we give them hundreds of dollars in merchant gift cards for emergency needs that always arise at the beginning of the school year.   We also donated $1000 in Tops gift cards this past Christmas to help families who are experiencing
