Mitten Tree
Throughout Advent, parishioners brought in mittens, gloves, hats, scarves and other items for our Mitten Tree. These items were given to the Care-N-Share Food Pantry in Ransomville and to the Town of Porter Christmas Basket Program. Donations of cash and gift cards were also given to both outreach ministries.

Special event: Local Native American Experience, Culture and Traditions
St. John’s will hold a potluck luncheon after Sunday service on November 20. We will have at least one guest speaker, who will talk about local Native American experience, culture and traditions. American Indian residential schools (also called Indian boarding schools) will also be discussed.
